You must have heard by now that our client, PMAC Energy, has unveiled its plans to create and build a £250million waste-to-energy plant at Redcar Bulk Terminal and we couldn’t be happier to have been a part of the company’s fantastic announcement.
The firm has secured 25 acres of the terminal’s land for the development, which it promises, to create up to 400 local jobs at the heart of the South Tees Development Corporation site.
Undertaking a hands-on approach with announcing the project, our talented PR specialists carried out several interviews and created a press release that effectively communicated the new project. This was then reviewed and approved by all necessary parties prior to issuing.
Once we issued the media opportunity and press release of this impressive new project, we had to work cohesively with Rob Lewis, Managing Director at PMAC and Garry O’Malley, General Manager at Redcar Bulk Terminal to arrange a series of interviews with all media outlets, including local and national press, TV and radio and trade publications. We couldn’t have asked for a better response following the announcement as we secured interviews with ITV and BBC News as well as featuring on Metro Radio News!
The amount of coverage received is true testament to how exciting the PMAC project is, with lots of opportunities for investors, businesses and people in the local community.
The Scarab4 team did a great job from start to finish announcing the scheme, and to date we have achieved over £28k amount of PR coverage for PMAC in terms of Advertising Value Equivalent (AVE).
We for one, cannot wait to see the plans come to life and enhance our energy’s future!
